Author Info: K.V. Surendran is at present working in the Department of English, Government Brennen College, Thalassery, Kerala. He had also worked in the Department of English, Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Kannur University, Thalassery Campus. He did his M.A. at Calicut University and Post-graduate Diploma in Teaching of English, M.Litt. and Ph.D. at the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad. His area of research was Chomskyan Linguistics. He has attended a number of seminars and workshops, National and International. He has contributed research papers both in linguistics and literature in reputed journals and other publications. At present he is concentrating more on Indian Literature in English. Indian Women Writers : Critical Perspectives which he co-edited with Jayadipsinh Dodiya has come out recently. Two of his forthcoming volumes are Indian Writing : Critical Perspectives and New Perspectives on Indian and Western Fiction.
